It's so good to be back teaching piano. We've had a lot to overcome here in DeQuincy, La---COVID-19 and two hurricanes! These catastrophes have caused us to start and stop piano lessons several times.
Now we're back into a routine. Piano classes are meeting Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week. Students are progressing through their piano book and their piano literature is re-enforced with different activities.
The young beginners' classes get to "play and play" each lesson. They learn game songs. They play the game then play the song on the keyboard and piano. One on one playing with the teacher means coloring time for the others.
We have also started Christmas music. That means a lot of playing and fun times in piano class.
Yes, it's good to be back!
